Franklin Street Singers

Franklin Street Singers, Truman State University’s show choir, is a select, auditioned group of singer/dancers and small instrumental combo that performs a varied and eclectic repertoire under the direction of Dr. Jacqueline Collett. Membership for the entire year is open to all students who audition during the first week of the fall semester; 24 students are selected for the ensemble. Franklin Street Singers enthusiastically supports Truman State by performing many concerts during the year, both in and out of state, including a fall tour. Many high school and civic groups have enjoyed their energetic and entertaining concerts.  Audition information can be obtained from Dr. Collett.
