Randall Smith, professor of music, teaches saxophone and music theory. His degrees include the Bachelor of Music Education and Bachelor of Music in saxophone performance from the Southeast Missouri State University, and Master of Music and Doctor of Music in saxophone performance from Indiana University, where he was a student of Eugene Rousseau. While at Indiana University, he was an associate instructor of saxophone and a member of the Indiana Saxophone Quartet. He has also studied saxophone with David Green, Kenneth Fischer and Larry Teal; oboe with Jerry Sirucek; bassoon with Charles Smith; clarinet with Henry Gulick and Bernard Portnoy; and flute with Charles Smith and Harry Houdeshel. Smith has performed throughout the United States, Europe and Puerto Rico.
