Event Information

The Madrigal Dinner will be held in the HUB and the Student Activities Room, on the third floor of the Student Union Building, at Truman State University. The event begins in the HUB, with the Renaissance Marketplace opening at 6:00 pm. Seating for the dinner in the Activities Room begins at 6:30 pm.

What is the theme/synopsis of this year's masque (play)?
The Jester's Test

The court Jester has been allowed the rare opportunity of a vacation. While out of the castle a wandering Troubadour steps in to try and steal the Jester’s job while it lay vacant. When the Jester returns, to find that there is some occupational competition, a test is devised in order to find out whom the best Jester is and who shall remain under the employment of the King.
